Overall this restaurant is great for lunch.
Taste: 4 out of 5
Service: 5 out of 5
Will I come back, yup!
This is my first time here for lunch and I ordered the braised short ribs. It's very delicious and portion is very generous, I don't have enough rice to go with the ribs! It's usually the other way around, right?!? The short ribs definitely soft and fell off the bones easily, and the meaty part is still full of texture not a mush. The spices sure are strong in this one, with quite a bit of heat and bean paste to give the pot full of umami, sweetness and spiciness.
As for service, at first I thought it's just normal, until I overheard next table told the server that she is allergic to seafood. The server went away for a while, then came back with the menu and pointed out which items the customer could order. I am pleased to see the restaurant staff has understanding of how allergy can impact people, and also the staff know what's in their dishes including marinades.
This place also has an all you can eat deep fried chicken after 2pm daily that I will probably not part take, but for people who are looking for a place to hang with a good cold beer over fried chicken, this is the spot!
For sure I will come back to try out their dinner menu. -

Was really going between 1 and 2 stars, it's really a solid 1.5 stars! There is virtually no selection for vegetarians and pescetarians, no seafood tofu soup or anything. Most items had meat already in it - but they will believe you when you say that you don't eat meat and allow the rest of your party to enjoy their AYCE menu.
I love Korean food and it's usually very reasonably priced with lots of seasoning and spices. When I got my bibimbap, it came with a very VERY tiny dish of sauce that barely coloured the rice. I can't usually take spicy foods, mild at best, but this one was bland. There are also no side dishes, so no kimchi to help flavour it.
Surprisingly, rather than spinach - this dish came with kale? It wasn't bad tasting per se, but could account for the overblown price of $15 (and that's before you add a protein)!
Overall, wouldn't come back. Not a lot of options for me here and dishes also aren't really worth it. -

This is a good spot for a first date, bc the food won't distract you (being so bland) and if you want to escape from an abysmal tinder match the skytrain station is right there.
Although if you're really feeling your date, the space is quite cramped so you can "accidentally" hold their hand across the tiny table. Afterwards, take a nice stroll in the great shopping area around. Drop in to the Vancouver Art Gallery for a romantic afternoon. There is also a korean karaoke nearby if that's more your style.
Personally, if you matched me on tinder and ask me to hang out here, nah........... -

Came here with a colleague for dinner. They were not very strict with the pork belly all you can eat. I wish they were strict about it than at least I wouldn't order it. So I got the all you can eat $18 pork belly. It is also required to pay %15 gratuity on top. I personally don't like the all you can eat pork belly. I only ordered one round because it was very gross.
The pork belly tasted like pepper pork chop. It was very fatty and not crispy. It was chopped up in giant pieces. I didn't like the food at all. For the first round, I didn't end up finishing it.
The all you can eat came with rice, lettuce, onion, pork belly (fatty pork chop) and soup. The soup was not wow either.
I don't think I will come back. The place was not busy at all. -

Probably like many others, I heard about this place through social media where they're boasting all you can eat pork belly. The deal here is that for $18.00 per person, you can get as much pork belly as you want, but your whole table has to be up for it, or they won't serve it to you at all (probably worried only one person will order it and share with the others who order entrees). As well, make sure you only order as much as you can eat, as for takeout, they charge per 100g. Yikes...
The pork belly itself was beautifully grilled. It has a nice crispy sear on the outside, while still maintaining the juiciness and fatty richness on the inside. It comes with a side of spicy stew, rice, sweet onion, and lettuce for using as a wrap. Overall, it's a really good way to let the carnivore within out, albeit being a bit on the more pricey side.
